Rating...Really Good.
It had been awhile since we had stopped in here, so we decided to try it again. The first thing we noted was all the changes that had been made. A total renovation of the restaurant area, tables and chairs constructed of natural wood gave it a kind of rustic atmosphere, it was really quite pleasant. They had also recently added a BBQ smoker out back and Freddie, our server, said they're Barbequing everything in sight and have it on the buffet daily now.
Most restaurants that feature a buffet as part of the menu usually push the buffet, it’s where they make the most profit, and it was the same here. So, after being recommended by Freddie, we decided on the buffet, with Sweet Tea.
The buffet did not offer as much of a selection as some other places, but, everything on the buffet was really good. The barbequed chicken was so tender and moist the meat just feel off the bone and Leah said the ribs were just as good. Each table has its own roll of paper towel, which was definitely needed. The only thing missing was a selection of fresh fruit for dessert.
We really enjoyed our meal here and highly recommend this restaurant. The bill was very reasonable, only $17.31.
